Education is an important part of the Bermuda Audubon Society’s mandate. As a wholly volunteer organisation, the society is not in a position to run a full educational programme, however we do offer the following:

  • Nonsuch Natural History Camp – a one-week residential course for teenagers, focusing on Bermuda’s terrestrial and marine environment
  • Talks on Bluebirds for primary school students
  • An Introduction to Birdwatching course, every few years
  • Lectures (at least two a year, see Events)
  • Guided Fieldtrips (at least once a quarter, see Events)
  • Paget Island Birding Camp, an opportunity to hone your birding skills in the company of experts (see Events)
  • Occasional special school events and competitions to encourage an interest in birds and the environment.
